Wolfgang Iser Lecture

Der Anglist Wolfgang Iser (1926–2007) steht für die literaturwissenschaftliche Theorie der „Konstanzer Schule“, die internationale Bedeutung erlangte. Mit der 2009 eingerichteten Wolfgang-Iser-Lecture, die einmal jährlich stattfindet, soll diese Tradition ins Gedächtnis gerufen werden.

Die jeweiligen Vorträge umreißen Literaturwissenschaft aus philosophischer, kulturwissenschaftlicher und anthropologischer Sicht. Die Lecture wurde 2009 von Prof. Dr. Aleida Assmann (Universität Konstanz) und Dr. Marcel Lepper (Deutsches Literaturarchiv Marbach) ins Leben gerufen.
