Research Centre European Cultures in a Multipolar World

The Dr. K. H. Eberle Research Centre “European Cultures in a Multipolar World” at the University of Konstanz, made possible with funds from the Dr. K. H. Eberle Foundation Prize, is an initiator and source of inspiration for a new kind of research on Europe in the field of Cultural Studies. At the research centre’s core is the drive to develop new perspectives on the diversity of European cultural dynamics, taking into consideration the continent’s loss of global significance and, on the other hand, its continued function as a role model for change. The centre links a global network of academic partners who consider this topic with the help of international partnerships, fellowships, and conferences, thus promoting an understanding of Europe which encompasses multiple perspectives.
